My signature is coming soon.
I've printed the lease, which cost about two dollars, and will fax soon, which will cost about question mark dollars.
Do I just send it to the management company?
At the same time,
I'm looking for apartments in Jerusalem.
Also,
we should keep track of our furniture acquisitions here.

we might sign a lease!
after sort of looking for other places, marvin sent us a lease application.
it was a little goofy, actually.
there was no exposition, no explanation that yes, the owner agreed to let us put the deposit down early and everything is fine and dandy.
just the application, really.
we freaked out a little bit, and then sent him this list of questions:
-Will we be allowed to sublet during the summer?
-How much exactly are the deposit and application fees?
-Could we start the lease on June 15th instead of the 1st?
-What are the exact details of the utilities? That is, which are included in monthly rent and which are not? Also, where does the washing machine/dryer fall utility-wise?
-What's your favorite kind of cookie?
Additionally, we'd like to walk through the apartment one more time if that's okay. We're available ___________ etc.
Marvin is a lovely little man who mostly has his shit together, but responded with answers to exactly half of our questions. It's okay, we'll go see him and the apt again this weekend and ask the rest of the questions. And bring cookies, obviously. No one told me that this is something I should do, but I figured that if he's the one who will be taking care of us and fixing things that need to be fixed etc, it couldn't hurt to get on his good side. Everyone loves cookies!

dream a little dream.
A closet and then another closet. There was a lot of closet space. As in SIX closets of closet space. As in more than enough for three girls, one of whom has more than the necessary amount of clothing.
Two pictures of the kitchen. With lots of space. Light cabinets. And pretty nice appliances.
In unit washer and drier. It looked a little shady. We're not sure how reliable it might be. Shelves by said unit.
Another closet. Woooooot. =]
The smallest baby bedroom.
The private bathroom that accompanies the baby bedroom.
Two shots of the dining room. Its a really nice room and I particularly like the blue-ish // white walls.
The hallway. AND MEEE. =]
Bathroom number 2. Its the bigger one not attached to any bedroom.
Bedroom #2. It also has its own closet.
Bedroom and the closet that comes with. You'll have to turn your head for the closet picture. Leek forget to rotate them and I don't know how to on blogger. ooops. =]
The living room. Full of great sunlight and other wonderfulness. It was also a nice decent size.
The windowed porchy thinger. Its pretty sweet. Once again, you will have to turn your head. But its okay, its good exercise. =]
----------
So we are fans of this place, but still unsure of whether we will be able to get it or not, depending on whether the women who owns it will realize she will not get another renter between now and june. We'll keep you updated on the info as it comes from Marvin. Hopefully, he will be a bearer of good news. =]

The College Condo
Though quite late, here are the pictures from the first apt./condo that we viewed.
The view from the outdoors. We really liked the idea of the gate, for added security and all, and especially because we could, potentially, buzz someone in from inside the apt.
The kitchen. The appliances and counter-tops were really nice, but I thought that it was a little small.
The bathroom. It was nice. The tiles were pretty. But the fact that there was only one was a definite no-no. No way can we fit ALL of our stuff in there. Also, you can see the man who showed us the apt. He was very nice.
The living room. It had a LOT of light, which surprised us because it was in a courtyard and we also really liked the bay window. If only this place was bigger.
Laundry room in the basement with extra storage and a bike rack. Very handy.
-------
Also. Dinner at MK was divine. How am I supposed to be content with dining hall food after my delish peppercorn encrusted tuna with garlic mashed potato, spinach and a cranberry reduction? OMG. YUM.
